This has long been Konstsmide’s sales message over the years. As true innovators of both outdoor and indoor lighting they can indeed point to being the first company to introduce a number of major breakthroughs in both design and product innovation over the years that include Welcome Lights and LED’s.
CIJ drove up the M1 to meet M.D. Oscar Johansson at their offices in Clay Cross, just a few miles from Chesterfield, to find out for myself exactly what Konstsmide will be showing from their stand in Hall M at the Harrogate show.
Oscar told me that around 300 new items across all their major categories will be introduced. He also impressed on me the fact that it isn’t only new products that Konstsmide provide each year, but also products that will improve how existing products work and also introducing items that make the job of dressing the garden – normally in very cold conditions – that will make this normally somewhat tedious job a little easier.
Last year it was Konstsmide’s Cable Reel that did away with the job of untangling string lights by supplying them in their very own cable reel. (Speaking personally, I spend many minutes each year untangling my outdoor and indoor string lights. The Cable Reel does away with all that angst.
For 2023, several sizes of cable reels make up the offering – a great idea that the great British public should welcome with open arms!
As I mentioned earlier Konstsmide’s creative team are always looking for ideas to improve how we power outdoor products and for 2023 they have created what in my humble opinion is a fantastic new product.
