Ashleigh & Burwood have been the innovative leaders of the pack when it comes to home fragrance since the boutique and quintessentially English company was founded back in 1993.
Headed up by father and son team John and Andrew Nettleton, production initially began from the kitchen table. But although the operation has expanded massively since then, the family values that run right through not only the company ethos but each beautifully scented product the brand makes are still at the heart of everything.
And one sure-fire way to mark this important 30th birthday in style is to unveil Ashleigh & Burwood’s full festive home fragrance collection at Harrogate Christmas & Gift Show. The diverse product portfolio of scents ranges from new wax melts to unique fragrance lamps, seasonal gifts and a myriad of home fragrancing solutions.
Managing Director Andrew told Christmas in January that Ashleigh & Burwood’s decision to exhibit at Harrogate in 2023 was partly down to the amazing reviews the show gets year on year.
“We’ve heard such superb feedback from our friends and peers within the industry regarding their participation at the Harrogate Christmas Fair in recent years that we knew it was too good an opportunity to pass by,” Andrew says.
“We’ve been expanding our Christmas offering steadily over the past few years and for 2023 we’ve added even more lines to compliment some of our most successful festive fragrances and product formats, so the time’s right to make our mark at the show this January.
“We’re looking forward to meeting with established customers, making some new connections and sharing our biggest festive collection yet. The show is perfectly timed for brands and retailers alike to enable good planning of the important fourth quarter.”
New introductions for Christmas include the affordably priced Say It With Scent massage candles, that come in eight different designs, and new The Scented Home Wax Melts, featuring a quartet of Christmas fragrances – Christmas Spice, White Christmas, Frosted Holly and Festive Fizz. Scented Sticks will also be available in the same four scents.
Also on offer at the Harrogate show will be a range of new display units for easy merchandising to maximise retailer sales.
“We’re really excited about the Harrogate Christmas Fair and for me it will be a first opportunity to receive reactions to the new in-store festive merchandising solutions I’ve been working on over the past few months,” explains Ashleigh & Burwood Visual Merchandiser, Olivia Collins.
“Our established FSDU for Diffusers and Candles from The Scented Home collection has been a phenomenal success and for 2023 we’re building on this, adding more shopper-friendly display units that make merchandising and sales simple. We’ll also be providing a chance to see our full festive offering, alongside our year-round home fragrance collections at Spring Fair on our new look stand.”
