Tallon might be ‘the stationery people’ but this is also a company constantly moving forward in terms of design and exciting new product lines. Product Design Director Barry Heath spoke to CiJ ahead of Harrogate

Visitors to Christmas & Gift who want to get things all wrapped up for the festive season should head directly to stand C19.

With more than 50 years of experience in the stationery and gift industries, Tallon International is returning to the Harrogate convention centre with a wealth of brand-new gift wrap designs, luxury cards, environmentally conscious product and stylish packaging solutions.

This is a company with serious stationery and seasonal gift wrap heritage. Founded back in 1972, today Tallon remains a family owned and run business where innovative ideas, ingenious designs and a real emphasis on excellent customer service combine to make them a force to be reckoned with.

“We’re thrilled to be coming back to Harrogate,” Barry Heath, product design director, explains. “The show has really evolved over the years and we cannot wait to unveil some really exciting new products at Christmas & Gift. With gift wrap in particular our show stand is really going to shine and we can’t wait to meet up with customers old and new!”

Branding front and centre

Tallon will be launching new branding for Christmas 2024, giving a modern boost to represent how the company is moving forward, developing new ideas and opportunities for the future.

Luxe card designs

Tallon has developed a new range of premium cards intended for the very special people in customer’s lives. As well as their stunning designs, these cards boast a higher GSM, luxury finishes and a high-quality box to keep them in tip top condition.

Many people like to send a special Christmas card to show how much they care, and these beautiful cards are designed for that very purpose.

Sustainability

Tallon strives to be an environmentally friendly business. The team is committed to developing sustainable product and packaging solutions, sourced responsibly.

Tallon also aims to reduce packaging waste and use more recycled materials, reducing single-use plastics. The brand’s products will now be designed with this in mind and will also display recycling logos that all consumers will recognise.

Coordinating Christmas

Other new additions to the Tallon range include fresh wrapping papers designed with matching gift bags and tags. The design team has worked tirelessly to create co-ordinated ranges that customers simply won’t be able to say no to.
